The network is down where I work. I got in at 8 AM, it is now 11 and it is still down. I keep all of my work files exclusively on the network.
I’ve exhausted all of my non-network things I can do.
What does Oppo do when their work networks go down?
AMA
Bucciali TAV 8-32 for your time.
Update: It is now 3:00 pm and the network is still down.

I don’t use an network. If something goes down at work I’ll find stock to rotate or look at the prep list.

When our networks go down we’re screwed too. All of the databases I use are exclusively online (which seems kind of dumb, really). What I usually do is crack open a book. I always leave a book or two at my desk, because it happens frequently enough.
As for the AMA, how do you like your steak/burger cooked?

Steak medium rare/rare-ish depending on the cut. I went to a really fancy restaurant recently, order a steak, bastards bring it back damn near well done. I wasn’t happy.
Burger, medium to medium well.

These are the correct answers. I can’t see how a good restaurant would screw up a steak. Most chefs hate ruining a good piece of meat by overcooking it. I too would be highly upset if I’m looking for a juicy steak and was served a dried out hunk of meat.

The bad news is I saw that it was overcooked before they even set the plate down. A thick cut split open at the sides in a few places.
On the plus side, the whiskey was very good.
